Gmail Faces Service disruption, Shows 502 Server Error
Google's Mail Service - Gmail Faces some connectivity issues which is available intermittently facing 502 Error or Server Error.
This is the second occurrence of Service disruption which occurred earlier on May 2nd where it is mentioned "Users were experiencing 502 errors and latency when accessing email." According to Google App Status report.
Incidentally, When i am trying to access Gmail Service, it wont let me in and to the surprise i can access the service, But still it was slow and not responding and when tried to refresh the session, It shows up 502 Server Error which occurs to due to bad gateway and Google refers it to Service disruption rather than Outage.
The Best way to confirm the service disruption or Service Outage is through Twitter and this Service - downrightnow.com. As the later part updates the service status via Twitter and User reports.
When Searching for the keyword "Gmail" in Twitter, I couldn't find any updates regarding the service disruption, but in next 5-10 mins, Issue went viral and Twitter was flooded with Gmail Tweets..
But there is no official update of Service disruption from Google AppStatus Dashboard and likely to be updated in some hours about the service disruption.
Update: Another Service disruption occurred today for some time. (May 13th) close to an hour which made users to tweet with hashtag #gmail.
