Easy ways to get Goo.gl URL on Firefox

As Google released it's URL Shortening service "Goo.gl" last year, now lets make it easier with Firefox.

Goo.gl Bookmarklet:

First method is with Goo.gl bookmarklet where shortening becomes a more easier and it makes easier while browsing. If you are twitering then you gotta make URL secure, so that for going on to other URL shortening service,Goo.gl bookmarklet gives more and flexible from your browser in a click thereby getting used in other platforms.

goo.gl lite Firefox Add-on:

Another way to deal with any Firefox say Extensions that makes the work easier and  goo.gl lite Add-on. This Add-on can be used in Toolbar and thereby making shortened URLs.

After Installing the Add-on, Just Rightclick on Firefox Toolbar --> Customize. There you see the button as in below screenshot. Drag them to status bar for use.

Just Click the button on status bar when you are in a particular page to get shortened and it gets saved in clipboard and just paste in URL bar or in text area where it shows off the shortened URL.

Google Application Engine, ggl-shortener.appspot.com, acts as a gateway and handles goo.gl's authentication.
