Blogging can be more effective by many ways but comments play effective role in developing one's blog. You may ask how this can be? If you notice in some of the famous blogs there may be top comment makers because they like to read articles from those particular blogs and they interact with blog author via comments.

Comments not only meant by Thanks or Good but  also serves as one-one communication where he/she expresses their views and get replies.If one likes a famous article or reads a news from a magazine,we like to Quote or comment by a reply so that makes a effective conversation and this too make one's blog more effective so that other users can get interested in commenting.

Reponding to comments or question by a visitor tells what he thinks of that particular comment and users views are reflected, so that the blog author may edit or make a new post if one request some answers or particular topic to be posted.

Also it helps the blog admin to know some thing from others rather just by a post it makes him absurd.Blog comments also encourages one to post in a effective manner and Negative comments makes him to tackle and improves a lot.
